The vessels are comfortable in themselves, so Club Lounge access is optional rather than essential. This can easily save you around £29 per person.

Hull to Rotterdam:
Book early + consider mini cruises
Whatever you do: Book early, that’s the best way to get a cheap ticket for this crossing to Holland. Additionally, if you're looking for a short visit, a mini cruise to Rotterdam can be a more affordable option. You can book these tickets at the bottom prices, but you will spend most of your time on the vessels, rather than at your final destination.

Travelling with a car increases the ticket price. However, when two people travel together, the price gap between travelling with and without a car becomes smaller. The examples below show this difference.

Questions and answers we have gotten over time ⮞
Do cabin prices on the Hull–Rotterdam route change depending on which ship (Pride of Hull or Pride of Rotterdam) you travel on?
No, the ship itself does not influence the price. P&O Ferries employs dynamic pricing, which is based on date, demand, and availability. Both the Pride of Hull and Pride of Rotterdam follow the same pricing structure for equivalent cabin types.
Is it cheaper to book a return trip on separate tickets instead of a standard return fare for the Hull–Rotterdam crossing?
Occasionally, yes. When demand is uneven between outbound and inbound sailings, booking two one way trips can result in a slightly lower combined fare. However, return fares are often bundled and include better flexibility options, so checking both methods before booking is worthwhile.
Does P&O adjust fares based on cabin occupancy; for example, is a two berth cabin for one person priced differently than for two?
Yes. If a single passenger books a two-berth cabin, they usually pay a single supplement because the cabin is reserved exclusively for them. Sharing the same cabin between two passengers lowers the per-person cost.
Are there any pricing differences if you book as a motorcycle passenger versus a car driver, even when both use a cabin?
Yes. Motorcycle fares are generally cheaper because they take up less deck space. The cabin cost remains the same, but the vehicle fare component is significantly lower for motorbikes compared to cars or caravans.
