Hotel New York

About Hotel New York

Hotel New York is a well-known spot in Rotterdam. It used to be the departure point for ships of the Holland America Line sailing to the United States. Today, it’s a restaurant and hotel.

The building is special for Rotterdam, as it’s one of the few that survived the German bombings that destroyed much of the city during the Second World War. It now stands proudly among the city’s modern high-rises.

The area around the hotel has been developed a lot in recent years, with plenty to see and do nearby. There’s also a water taxi stop right outside, making it easy to travel to other parts of the city. The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the ferry terminal, and parking is available close by.
