Landal GreenParks is well known in the UK, but it’s also a popular holiday park brand in the Netherlands and a great site to find family-friendly accommodation. You’ll also find Roompot parks on the same website, another Dutch favourite for family holidays. Make sure to visit the international site at www.landal.com, as the UK version only shows British parks.

What to expect from Landal

The parks listed on the Landal website are varied, so there’s something for everyone. You’ll find comfortable lodges and holiday homes in beautiful natural surroundings. The parks are spread across the country, from coastal dunes and forests to lakes. Each park has its own character, but they all share the same relaxed atmosphere and focus on nature, walking, cycling and family time.

A good choice for ferry travellers

Landal offers several options within easy reach of the ferry terminal. Two parks stand out as convenient choices. 

1  You can stay at Roompot Lakeside Resort Brielle, about 25 minutes’ drive from the P&O ferry terminal. The park sits by a lake just south of Rotterdam, and the historic town of Brielle is only 20 minutes away.

2. Another good option, about 35 minutes from the port, is Landal Strand Resort Ouddorp Duin. This park is right by the beach and, in our view, offers a slightly more attractive setting.

There are many more parks to choose from, so you’re bound to find one that suits your plans for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Netherlands.
